Winter 2026 Canskate program registration is open!
CCSC's Power Edges is a PowerSkate, drill-based, high-energy program that specializes in developing ice sport players with enhanced skating skills for hockey and ringette.
Skaters may be any age, but must have previous skating experience equivalent to Stage 4 CanSkate or higher. This program concentrates on key elements of balance, control and agility skills including components of power and speed. The program is delivered by a Power Skating NCCP Skate Canada certified coach. All players must have skates, gloves, and a helmet. Full equipment is optional.
CCSC is pleased to offer a September PowerSkating Boot Camp that provides a condensed course of training to get your skater to proficiency, quickly, in time for the season.

*$62 is a one-time annual fee for the entire 2025-2026 season

Special events - such as hockey tournaments - affect regular ice allocations for all clubs and leagues in the City by disrupting schedules across all arenas. Our ability to reschedule this lost ice time is strictly limited to the times and locations offered by the City, which is managing ice for hundreds of stakeholders. CCSC’s priority is to select reallocation ice options that best suit the majority of our membership and our coaching availability from the limited options offered by the City. Refer to the posted monthly calendar and our Facebook Page frequently for updates. Please note that rescheduled sessions may not align with your regular day, time, or location. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
